Flavolined Longhorn
A large prionine beetle with yellowish elytra and dark veined patterns, found in the Amazon basin. It is less well known than its more famous congeners. Larvae develop in large fallen trunks in primary forest.

Dirt-colored Seed Bug
A tiny, cryptically colored seed bug found in leaf litter and soil surfaces across the eastern United States. Its brown mottled pattern provides excellent camouflage against forest floor debris.
