The principal vector of Chagas disease in Latin America. Named because it bites sleeping humans near the mouth and eyes, transmitting the Trypanosoma cruzi parasite through its feces.

Sunda Colugo Fly
A parasitoid wasp with a slender body, extremely long ovipositor, and distinctively bicolored black and orange body. It drills into wood to parasitize beetle larvae hidden inside.
