Smoke-Tree Sharpshooter
A large leafhopper native to the southwestern US and Mexico closely related to the glassy-winged sharpshooter. It is a vector of xylem-dwelling plant pathogens.

Eastern Snowy Tree Cricket
One of the largest Neotropical cicadas with a body length exceeding 60 mm. It has greenish transparent wings and a robust body, producing an enormously loud call.
